Sherrie Hewson (born 17 September 1950) is a British actress, television personality, and author, best known for her roles in popular British television shows.
Acting Career: Hewson gained recognition for her roles in long-running soap operas. She is prominently known for her portrayal of Maureen Holdsworth in Coronation Street, a role she played intermittently from 1993 to 1997 and then again briefly in 2006. She also starred as Lesley Meredith in Emmerdale from 2003 to 2006. Her acting career started much earlier, however, including roles in the Carry On films.
Television Personality: Beyond acting, Hewson is a familiar face on British television as a panelist on Loose%20Women. She was a regular panelist on the daytime talk show from 2003 to 2017, known for her humour, stories, and opinions. Her television work also includes guest appearances on various shows and reality television participation.
